Regenerating Your Plan
Get a fresh set of weekly recipes with optional feedback to guide the results.
If you want a completely new set of recipes for the week, you can regenerate your entire meal plan. You can also include feedback to steer the results toward what you're looking for.
How to regenerate
- Click the Regenerate button at the top of your meal plan.
- A feedback dialog appears. You can optionally type what you'd like changed — for example, "more variety," "skip salmon this week," or "fewer pasta dishes."
- Confirm to generate a fresh set of seven recipes.
Eatgent replaces all seven meals for the week with new recipes matched to your food profile and any feedback you've provided.
How feedback works
Your feedback accumulates over time. Each time you regenerate, the feedback dialog shows what you've previously requested so you can see everything Eatgent is already considering. You can add new feedback on top of what's there.
Feedback has a 500-character limit per regeneration. Keep it specific and direct — short, clear notes like "lighter meals" or "no red meat" work well.
Good to know
- Regenerating uses approximately seven AI recipe matches from your weekly allowance (one per day).
- All seven recipes are replaced. If you only want to change one meal, use Swap Meal instead.
- Eatgent factors in all accumulated feedback when generating new plans, so your results should improve each time.
