Weekly Plan Overview

Navigate your weekly dinner plan and understand what each recipe card shows.

The meal planner shows your seven dinner recipes for the week in a card grid, one card for each day from Monday through Sunday. The grid adjusts to your screen size, showing one to four columns depending on the device you're using.

What each recipe card shows

Every card in your meal plan includes:

  • Day name — The day of the week the recipe is planned for.
  • Recipe image — A photo of the dish.
  • Recipe title — The name of the recipe.
  • Fit score badge — A color-coded score showing how well the recipe matches your food profile.
  • Prep time and cook time — How long the recipe takes to prepare and cook.
  • Servings — How many portions the recipe makes.
  • AI reasoning — A short explanation of why Eatgent chose this recipe for you.
  • Ingredients preview — The first five ingredients, with a count of any remaining (e.g., "+4 more").
  • View Full Recipe — A link to the complete recipe with full ingredients and step-by-step instructions.
  • Swap Meal — A button to replace this recipe with an alternative.

Navigating between weeks

At the top of the planner, you'll find controls for moving between weeks:

  • Previous and Next buttons — Move one week backward or forward.
  • Go to Today — Jump back to the current week.
  • Week selector — Pick a specific week from a dropdown.

You can also use keyboard shortcuts for quick navigation:

  • Left arrow — Previous week.
  • Right arrow — Next week.
  • T — Jump to today's week.
