Using Your List

Check off items, track your progress, and print your list for the store.

Once your shopping list is generated, you can use it as a live checklist while you shop.

Department organization

Items are grouped by grocery department so you can work through the store aisle by aisle. Departments include:

  • Produce
  • Dairy
  • Meat
  • Seafood
  • Bakery
  • Frozen
  • Beverages
  • Snacks
  • Condiments
  • Pantry Staples

Each department has an icon for quick scanning.

Pantry items

Pantry staples (items you likely already have at home) are collapsed by default with a "Check your pantry" hint. Expand the section to review these items and check off anything you need to buy.

Checking off items

Tap or click an item to mark it as done. Your check-off progress is saved automatically and syncs across sessions and devices. If you start checking items on your phone at home and finish at the store, your progress carries over.

To start fresh, use Clear all checks. A 5-second undo window appears in case you tap it by accident.

Tracking progress

A circular progress ring shows what percentage of the list you've completed. It updates in real time as you check off items.

Printing your list

Click the Print button to generate a printer-friendly version of your list. The print layout uses three columns so the list fits neatly on a single page.
